When I first saw the Tip Top Dress & tunic I immediately loved it. So, when Celina from Petit a Petit and Family chose me to test it I was really pleased. The truth is, I liked it even more after seeing all the possibilities and how it turned out, as well as all the others that were made by the other talented ladies in the test group.
The pattern was released today and you can get it on sale during the next two weeks. My advice is that you take advantage of the sale, as itβs truly a great pattern. π
The Tip Top is a beautiful flowy Dress/top with many options, that allow you to choose between single or double sleeves, piping, different pockets, gathered front and back or pleats which will make this dress/top good for every occasion.
I tested the dress option, with single sleeves, pleats, visible bias binding, facing hem and no pockets and I must say that both I and F loved it!
The fabrics I used were a blue cotton lawn and Tomβs Liberty print for the sleeves, bias binding, facing hem and the button in the back, the same fabrics already used in another dress I made for M. π
I and F quite liked the fit, but Celina made some changes to improve the fitting in the neckline and in the sleeves, thus making it even better. π
Thank you so much Celina for letting me test the dress for you.
Hope you’re all having a great summer. π
